The Tortoiseshell Bay winery is located in the small hamlet of Yenda in the heart of Riverina in New South Wales. The climate is hot and dry with abundant winter rainfall resulting in delicate, fresh, but full flavoured wines.

From selected blocks in Riverina, NSW, with stoney red loam soil and limited irrigation. Vines are low cropping and have to work hard sending out deep roots, resulting in high quality grapes. Night harvesting is carried out, to retain freshness and flavour, followed by modern vinification and sensitive use of French oak.

In 1987 Geoff Hardy and his family began planting 30 hectares of vines with the aim of producing high quality fruit for specific use in super premium wines. The site, named Kuitpo Vineyard, is located along the ridge of the South-West escarpment of the Mt Lofty Ranges at a height of between 300-350 metres above sea level. The combination of this altitude, climate and ancient soils make the site ideal for a premium cool climate vineyard. As this vineyard was the first significant planting in the Kuitpo region, most people refer to it now as the 'K1' vineyard.

Pertaringa is a picturesque Australian vineyard, located in McLaren Vale, forty kilometers south of the capital of the state, Adelaide. Pertaringa means 'belonging to the hills'.
Founded and run by Geoff Hardy (of the famous Hardy wine family) and Ian Leask in 1981, Pertaringa is achieving a cult status and a reputation for producing some of the regions finest wines.

Cape Mentelle was one of the first vineyards established in the Margaret River region.
